America’s VetDogs is opening its campus doors to the public on Thursday, May 25 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Come experience service dog demonstrations, speak to local veterans and first responders about how their service dog has improved their lives, explore volunteer opportunities, learn about the life-changing work service dogs provide & much more. No registration necessary. America’s VetDogs is a nonprofit organization that provides specially trained service dogs, guide dogs, hearing dogs, seizure response dogs & service dogs for PTSD & military sexual trauma, free of charge to veterans of all eras, first responders, & active-duty military. America’s VetDogs is located at 371 East Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown, New York. Join us and learn how you can help those who have served our nation with honor live without boundaries.

Head west on I-495 W. Take exit 57 toward NY-454/Patchogue/Commack/Northern Parkway 0.2 mi.  Merge onto Express Dr N/Long Island Expressway North Service Rd. 39 ft. Open House will take place in America's VetDogs administrative building located on the left of 50 Acre Road South. Please enter through the main entrance, adjacent to flag pole and bronze dog statue.

4:45 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. – Graduate Q&A - speak to local veteran graduates of America's VetDogs about how their service dog has improved their life

5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Service dog demonstration - demos of service dog work including : retrieve, nightmare interruption, opening doors, pushing buttons to summon help, PTSD skills, and more. 

6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Q&A with Sully H.W. Bush, former service dog to the late President George H.W. Bush
