Our First Steps to Service, Inc., a 501c3, is dedicated to supplying the needs of Guide Dog Foundation and America's VetDogs nursery puppies that will grow and train to become future guide and service dogs for people that are blind or have low vision and for disabled veterans, active-duty personnel, and first responders.

April 1, 2023 – 12th Annual Spring Fling – Scranton, PA

For the tenth year in a row, students and alumni at the University of Scranton have selected America’s VetDogs as a beneficiary of proceeds from their spring fling in support of T.J. Hromisin, a veteran and graduate of the University of Scranton. T.J. was blinded as a result of serving our country. He received a service dog from America’s VetDogs a few years ago to assist him with everyday tasks. The dinner event is from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. to be held at Hilton Scranton & Conference Center in Scranton, PA. There will be a silent auction and raffles. April 15, 2023 –(Saturday) – Friends of America's VetDogs Auction Fundraiser - Sayville, NY
Join supporters of America’s VetDogs for a 50/50, raffles and chance auction. This special event will be held in the St. Lawrence Parish School on Main Street in Sayville (formerly called Prince of Peace Regional School.) Tickets are $25 per bidding sheet. Each sheet offers 26 bidding tickets with an opportunity to purchase additional sheets for $2. Participants can walk through the auction to view prizes and take a chance to win! The doors will open at 11:00 a.m. and will remain open until 5:00 p.m.  For ticket reservation, please contact Cliff Miller/Patricia Summers at 631-567-9493.
