Every year, America's VetDogs hosts several special events.

9th Annual Golf Classic - August 27, 2018

America's VetDogs is excited to hold its 9th Annual Golf Classic at the Huntington Country Club, in Huntington, NY on Monday, August 27, 2018.  A live auction and raffle will be a part of this year's event and several America's VetDogs graduate teams will be on hand including TODAY Show Puppy with a Purpose Charlie, and his handler Air Force veteran Stacy Pearsall.  Registration/Brunch begins at 9:30 am and the Shotgun start will begin at 11 am. Cocktails, dinner and the awards ceremony will immediately follow the completed round.

February 2018 – June 2019 - Luxury Suite for Long Island Ducks Game

The Guide Dog Foundation and America’s VetDogs are committed to providing our special dogs free of charge to people across North America with disabilities.  Beginning February 2018 and running through June 2019, our goal is to raise $500,000 to change more lives through the partnership of a guide or service dog.  However, we can’t train and place these dogs on our own  – we need YOUR help!  You can provide life-changing guide and service dogs to those who need them by donating today. Fundraiser in Support of America’s VetDogs – Long Island, NY

Members of the Omega Gamma Delta Fraternity – Delta Gamma Chapter, recognize the efforts of America’s VetDogs to provide custom-trained service dogs to veterans with disabilities. They are hosting an ongoing raffle to raise funds. The winner will receive a 2018 Harley Davidson Road King. There are 1,500 tickets for this raffle and each ticket is $25. August 17, 2018 – Fight4Vets Inc. Presents Tailgate at the RailRaiders – Scranton, PA

Join Fight4Vets 2018 hometown hero Joe Sabia, Navy Veteran rescue swimmer as he throws out the first pitch to raise funds for Fight4Vets. Tickets are only $12! Complimentary tailgate at 4:00 p.m. and first pitch at 7:00 p.m. Their goal is to raise $6,000 to sponsor a dog in the America’s VetDogs service dog program. August 31, 2018 – Fight4Vets Inc. Presents Boxcar Brawl – Scranton, PA

This outdoor amateur boxing competition will be held at the Radisson Hotel located at 700 Lackawanna Avenue in Scranton, PA 18510. More than 1,000 people have attended this event in the past. Their goal is to raise $6,000 to sponsor a dog in the service dog program. Any additional funds will help veterans facing financial hardships in their local community. September 8, 2018 – Huntington 9/11 Heroes Run – Huntington, NY

For the past four years Travis Manion Foundation has selected America’s VetDogs as their charity partner for this timed run/walk event. Run, Volunteer, Donate, Cheer…but most of all: Honor.  Register here for the 5K run (to start at 9:30) or 1-mile fun run/walk (to start at 9:00) from Mill Dam Park.  For more information, please email Huntington@911HeroesRun.org.

September 14, 2018 (Friday) – Thanks Troops Golf Outing – Riverhead, NY

Join Thanks Troops at the Woods Cherry Creek Golf Club in Riverhead, NY this fall.  The price for an individual player is 175.00 and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. September 21-23, 2018 – 3rd Annual Jeremy Feder All-Star Charity Baseball Tournament - Oceanside, NY

Oceanside Little League and the Feder family will be hosting this baseball tournament for kids ages 8 -10 years old with all proceeds to benefit America’s VetDogs. Opening ceremony starts on Friday night at Wrights Field in Oceanside, NY with the games to follow. Additional games to be held Saturday and Sunday.  Food and great raffle prizes will be will be sold starting at 6:30 p.m, on Friday, September 21, at Wrights Field located at 264 Mott St. in Oceanside.  To date, Jeremy has raised more than $11,000 for America’s VetDogs.  Registration will soon be available. September 24, 2018 - 14th Annual Culinary Delights Fundraiser at Carltun on the Park – East Meadow, NY

For the fifth year in a row, the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce selected America’s VetDogs as one of the charities to benefit from their very successful annual fundraiser to be held on Monday, September 24, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. Many restaurants from the local community go to this event to showcase their food specialty for the enjoyment of all registered participants. During the evening there will be raffles, food, fun and more! Tickets are $55 and if, you select America’s VetDogs on the back of your ticket, 50 percent of your paid ticket will go to the Foundation. September 25, 2018 – Dix Hills Golf League’s Annual Outing – Huntington, New York

Do you like to play golf? Purchase a ticket to play in this special outing – ladies only. Lunch and raffles to follow at a restaurant nearby golf course. All proceeds to benefit America’s VetDogs! For additional information, please email Susan at obsail@aol.com.

September 29, 2018 – 5th Annual Bridgewater Police 5K & 1M Kids Fun Run – Bridgewater, MA

Organizers of this successful run/walk event have selected America’s VetDogs as the charity they will support this year. The race director happens to also be a weekend puppy raiser and has raised several puppies for the past five years that have assisted with our service dog program.
