Los Angeles Kick-Off Event RSVP

June 2, 2019

The Los Angeles Steering Committee welcomes America's VetDogs to the area and invites you to join us for a reception to learn more about the organization and raise awareness and funds to support its life-saving mission.

Zuma, the NBC LA 'puppy with a purpose', and future service dog from America's VetDogs will be in attendance and additional special guests will be announced.

The service dog programs of America’s VetDogs were created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance.  It costs over $50,000 to breed, raise, train, and place one assistance dog, but America’s VetDogs provides its services completely free of charge to each individual. Funding comes from the generosity of individuals like you, corporations, foundations, and community organizations.

As we have been privileged to witness, a guide or service dog changes lives, brings a newfound sense of independence and dignity to someone with disabilities.
