Pam Vitale, Executive Administrator

Pam Vitale began her career at the Foundation as the part-time recording secretary for the board of directors before joining the staff full-time as the assistant to the previous president and CEO, a position she held for almost 30 years.
Under the tenure of John Miller, current president and CEO, Pam was promoted to executive administrator and joined the leadership team in 2018 where her institutional knowledge and history, and the insights she offers, have proven invaluable to our operations.
In her role as executive administrator, she supports the president & CEO with major administrative tasks and is the chief liaison to the boards of directors for the Guide Dog Foundation and America’s VetDogs. Pam manages the executive office for both organizations, which includes supervising staff and overseeing organization-wide travel.
Pam was involved with the Guide Dog Foundation’s capital campaign of 2000-2001, which saw the building of a new national administrative center, the renovation of the student residence, and the building and renovation of the training center, as well as the creation of America’s VetDogs, which began as a project of the Guide Dog Foundation in 2003 before becoming a separate nonprofit in 2006.
