Guide Dog Foundation and America’s VetDogs Promotes Allison Storck to Director of Public Relations and Marketing

– The Guide Dog Foundation and America’s VetDogs, sister nonprofit organizations that train and place assistance dogs with individuals who are blind or have low vision, and to veterans and first responders with disabilities, is pleased to announce the promotion of Allison Storck to Director of Public Relations and Marketing. Storck previously served as the Associate Director of Public Relations. In this new role, Storck will lead all Public Relations and Marketing initiatives and continue to establish and execute strategic partnerships to expand and enhance the visibility and mission of each organization. Storck will set the fundamental marketing and communications strategy with a focus on strengthening awareness, brand recognition and reputation across print and digital media, social media and in corporate collaborations.
Storck joined the organizations in August 2017 as the Public Relations Specialist and within the year, was quickly elevated to Public Relations Manager. In this position, Storck played a vital role in numerous national and international media campaigns including the launch of the organization’s, ‘Puppy with a Purpose’ program starting with the TODAY morning show and four NBC affiliates across the country. Storck was also instrumental in the international media campaign surrounding Sully H.W. Bush, service dog for the 41st President of the United States.
Succeeding, Storck was promoted to Associate Director of Public Relations where she continued to bolster the image of both national nonprofit organizations while creating, managing, and nurturing the ‘Puppies with a Purpose’ program with professional sports teams across Major League Baseball, National Football League, National Hockey League and Major League Soccer. Outside of work hours, Storck is also a volunteer of the organizations, serving as a Puppy Raiser to three future assistance dogs.
