DAWN DIOGUARDO, Chief Development Officer

Dawn Dioguardo, who joined as director of development for Guide Dog Foundation and America's VetDogs in April 2023, has played a critical role in advancing the organizations’ fundraising and partnership efforts. As chief development officer since January 2025, she leads the development team with a focus on enhancing fundraising efforts, strengthening donor engagement, and developing corporate partnerships to ensure continued financial growth and sustainability.

Dawn has more than 20 years’ experience raising funds within the non-profit sector. She joined us from Habitat for Humanity of Long Island where she built and managed a committed team of development and marketing professionals who impacted the evolution of the organization’s fund-development strategies. Previously, she held positions with WSHU Public Radio and Stony Brook University where she worked to build and strengthen major gift programs.
