America’s VetDogs Run & Dog Walk – Sunday, April 28, 2019

THE AVENUE at White Marsh, Baltimore, MD - Help America’s VetDogs make a difference in the lives of veterans by registering for the Run & Dog Walk to be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the AVENUE at White Marsh, Baltimore.  Participants can choose to run in a 5K timed race or take a 2-mile family-friendly walk with or without their pup.

5th Annual Long Island Run & Dog Walk – Saturday, July 27, 2019

The 5th Annual Long Island Run & Dog Walk will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, NY.  The 5K course will be officially measured.  Dogs are welcome for those who wish to do the 5K or take a leisurely 2-mile walk with their four-legged friends.  Virtual participation is available.  Help America’s VetDogs make a difference in the lives of veterans with disabilities by joining us on this run and walk, or by becoming a sponsor for this exciting event.

March 2 – 9, 2019 (Saturday) - Cruise Planners

CruisePlanners has announced their annual cruise with proceeds to benefit America’s VetDogs for 2019.  It’s a 7-night Eastern Caribbean Cruise which includes visits to San Jan, St. Thomas, Punta Cana and Nassau via Celebrity Cruise Line. March 23, 2019 – Petals for Paws - Smithtown, New York

M&C Adventures is hosting this special event again this year. Participants last year had a blast. The event will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Frank Brush Barn located at the Smithtown Historical Society’s campus.  A professional florist will instruct participants on flower arranging. SOLD OUT April 27, 2019 (Saturday) – 5th Annual Friends of America's VetDogs Fundraiser SOLD OUT

Join supporters of America’s VetDogs for a 50/50, raffles and Chinese auction. This special event will be held in the St. Lawrence Parish School on Main Street in Sayville (formerly called Prince of Peace Regional School.) Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance. Each ticket offers 26 bidding tickets with an opportunity to purchase additional sheets for $2. April 27, 2019 – 10th Annual Spring Fling – Scranton, PA

For the sixth year in a row, students and alumni at the University of Scranton have selected America’s VetDogs as a beneficiary of proceeds from their spring fling in support of T.J. Hromisn, a veteran and graduate of the University of Scranton. T.J. was blinded as a result of serving our country. He received a service dog from America’s VetDogs a few years ago to assist him with everyday tasks. This dinner event is from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. in the DeNaples Ballroom. April 28, 2019 (Sunday) – Dapper’s Dogs

The LCP William J. Donovan, Jr. Memorial Fund is hosting this fundraising event at Florian Hall in Dorchester, MA with doors opening at 3 p.m.. All proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit America’s VetDogs. For additional information, please email Jane Donovan


May 4, 2019 – Spring Plant Sale – Garden City, NY

Women’s Ministries of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection has selected America’s VetDogs as a beneficiary of funds for their 13th year of hosting this annual plant sale.  This is the second year they have selected America’s VetDogs as a recipient of funds. More than $7,000 was raised last year. The event will take place at their church located at 420 Stewart Avenue in Garden City, NY 11530 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Please email to order in advance of the event.

May 5, 2019 (Sunday) –Staten Island Annual Dog Walk

The Rotary Club of Gateway Staten Island is hosting this pet-friendly event with a portion of the proceeds to benefit America’s VetDogs. This event takes place at Wolf Pond Park located at Cornelius and Chestnut Avenue in Staten Island, NY 10308. May 19, 2019 – 4th Annual Supreme Auto Service Center Car Show - Somers, CT

For the second year in a row, America’s VetDogs has been selected as a beneficiary of funds for this special event.  The event is taking place at the Pleasant View Café to begin at 10:00 a.m. The Foundation is encouraging weekend puppy raisers affiliated with the Osborn Correctional Institution to be in attendance and support this fundraiser in the Connecticut community. If you wish to feature your car the fee is $15. The fee for spectators is $5. Sponsorships are also available. To learn more, please call 860-882-9041. Rain date is June 2, 2019.


September 7, 2019 – A Salute to Soldiers – Agawam, MA

This is the 2nd Annual Fundraiser hosted by Jack Chamberland in partnership with BarRated Trivia. This year’s fundraiser is a trivia game! The event will be held at the Polish American Club of Agawam and will begin at 5:00 p.m.  Tickets will be available for sale on Eventbrite for $25 – just type in "A Salute to Soldiers". Bring your smartest friends to compete for the grand prize, as you answer 25 questions on subjects that could range anywhere from science to history to pop culture. There will also be a customized VetDogs round and a music round where you could be asked to name the singer, the song title, etc. Every team will leave with a prize. Food will be served at 5:45 p.m. with trivia to start at 6:30 p.m. Don’t be late, as you won’t want to miss out on all the fun! There will be a BBQ buffet, raffle prizes, live music by C.A. Jones, and of course pups in training from the VetDogs organization! A graduate from the America’s VetDogs program may also be in attendance.

September 13, 2019 – Troops Golf Classic– Riverhead, NY

Join Thanks Troops at the Woods Cherry Creek Golf Club this fall. Proceeds for this year’s tournament will benefit America’s VetDogs, Folds of Honor, Navy SEAL Museum and the Marine Corps League. The price for an individual player is $195 and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. There will be vendors, contests and beverages on the course. This event always sell out. September 20-22, 2019 – 4th Annual Jeremy Feder All-Star Charity Baseball Tournament - Oceanside, NY

Oceanside Little League and the Feder family will be hosting this baseball tournament for kids ages 8 -10 years old with all proceeds to benefit America’s VetDogs. Opening Ceremony starts on Friday night at Wrights Field in Oceanside, NY with the games to follow. Additional games to be held Saturday and Sunday.  Food and great raffle prizes will be will be sold starting at 6:30 pm on Friday, September 20th at Wrights Field located at 264 Mott St. in Oceanside.  To date, Jeremy has raised more than $16,000 for America’s VetDogs.  Registration will soon be available. September 24, 2019 – Dix Hills Golf League’s Annual Outing – Huntington, New York

Do you play golf?  Purchase a ticket to play in this special outing – ladies only.  Lunch and raffles to follow at a restaurant nearby the golf course.  All proceeds to benefit America’s VetDogs!  For additional information, email Susan.
