Volunteers care for a puppy or adult dog in their home for short periods. Temporary homes, or temp homes, provide a safe and loving environment where a puppy will learn, or an adult dog will maintain, housebreaking, obedience, excellent house manners, and socialization. Veterinary care and dog food is provided by the Foundation.
Hours of Volunteering:
The volunteer temps the puppy or adult dog for a scheduled time period, often 1-3 weeks.
