Every year, America's VetDogs hosts several special events.

April 22, 2018 - 8th Annual Annapolis/Kent Island Run & Dog Walk 

Help America’s VetDogs make a difference in the lives of veterans by registering for the 8th Annual Annapolis/Kent Island Run & Dog Walk to be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018.  This event leaves from Kent Island High School in Stevensville, MD, and tours the beautiful Cross Island Trail. Participants can choose to run in a 10K or 5K timed race, or take a 2-mile family-friendly walk with or without their pup.  All proceeds will assist America’s VetDogs mission to help veterans with disabilities live a life without boundaries.

April 7, 2018 – 4th Annual Friends of America's VetDogs Fundraiser - Sayville, NY

Join supporters of America’s VetDogs for a 50/50, raffles and Chinese auction. This special event will be held in the St. Lawrence Parish School on Main Street in Sayville (formerly called Prince of Peace Regional School.) Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance. Each ticket offers 26 bidding tickets with an opportunity to purchase additional sheets for $2. April 7, 2018 – Occupational Therapy Graduate Spring Fling & Alumni Reunion - Scranton, PA

For the fifth year in a row, students at the University of Scranton have selected America’s VetDogs as a beneficiary of proceeds from their annual spring fling. T.J. Hromisn, a veteran and graduate of the University of Scranton, was blinded as a result of serving our country. He received a service dog from America’s VetDogs a few years ago to assist him with everyday tasks. This dinner event is from 7:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. in the DeNaples Ballroom. April 15, 2018 – 12th Annual Spring Breakout Cruise - Long Island, NY

The Empire Galaxie Car Club announced they will again host Long Island’s longest car cruise to benefit America’s VetDogs in partnership with the Pontiac Club.  Tickets for this event sell out fast. The cruise is from Farmingdale to Riverhead and concludes at Orient Point.  After the ride, a lunch is held at the American Legion Hall #803 in Southold. There will be a 50/50 cash raffle and a raffle for merchandise and gift cards from many fabulous merchants. For more information, please call 516-860-9309 or 631-724-6231.

April 21, 2018 – Petals for Paws - Calverton, NY

M&C Adventures is hosting this special event again this year. Participants last year had a blast. The event will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Brush Barn located at the Smithtown Historical Society’s campus.  A professional florist will instruct participants on flower arranging. Wine tasting as well many great raffles will be there too. Flyer will be available soon with additional information.

April 22, 2018 – Spring Benefit – Centre Island, New York

Come meet Sy Lederman (graduate who served in WWII) and his guide dog Merlot, at this Oyster Bay Lion’s Club event to be held at the Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club. The event starts at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $100. To purchase a ticket, please call Doug at 516-965-2086. This year’s event is focused on the Guide Dog Foundation & America’s VetDogs and other worthy causes. 


June 9 -10, 2018 – 2018 Peconic Quilt Show - Riverhead, NY

The Eastern Long Island Quilters Guild has selected America’s VetDogs as a beneficiary of proceeds from their annual quilt show to take place at the Suffolk County Community College’s, Riverhead Campus. The event will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9th and from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10th. September 29, 2018 – 5th Annual Bridgewater Police 5K & 1M Kids Fun Run - Bridgewater, MA

Organizers of this successful run/walk event have selected America’s VetDogs as the charity they will support this year. The Race Director happens to also be a weekend puppy raiser and has raised several puppies for the past five years that have assisted with our service dog program. The Healthy Vision Association is committed to helping qualified not-for-profit organizations whose mission is related to helping people see well and stay healthy. A donation from annual membership fees will go to sponsoring those vision and health related charities that align best with the purpose of the Healthy Vision Association, including America’s VetDogs. Army Navy Panorama Project

Standard or customized posters of the Army and/or Navy Corps of Cadets after they marched on the field at the 2017 Army Navy Game in Philadelphia.  You can also order the previous 3 game years of posters.  Project generates a donation to America’s VetDogs.  See website for details and order information.
